Day 01: Hanoi Arrival (D) - 50km/ 1hour drive
Our tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Drive to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day. Dinner on a fine rstaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour - Transfer to Railway station (B/L) - 100km + 400km/ 8hours touring + 8hours on overnight train
A guided tours will show you the city's landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, The Temple of Literature (First University built in the 11th Century) and Hanoi Fine Art Museum. After lunch, we pay a visit to Hoa Lo Hanoi also known as "Hanoi Hilton" then free walking around Hanoi old quarter for shopping and short visit Dong Xuan market. Enjoy 1 hour cyclo around Hanoi busy streets and the traditional water puppetry show. At 21:00, we go to Hanoi Railways station to board on the overnight train to Sapa. Day 03: Lao Cai arrival - transfer to Sapa (B/L) - 35km/ 1hour drive
The train arrives in Lao Cai at 05:00 am. Drive uphill to Sapa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable. The remoteness and simple lifestyle of ethnic minorities are a highlight of Sapa although conditions are very basic. After checking into hotel we can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by spending time to wander around. The ethnic people are frequently seen in this hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. In the afternoon, we trek to Cat Cat village (2 km from Sapa town) where you will visit the village of Black H’mong hill tribes. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Sapa Valley. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Back to your hotel. Free for dinner and leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Sapa – Hanoi (B/L) - 35km/ 1hour drive
This morning, let’s challenge you by a soft trek to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages inhabited by Black H’mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. You may acquire for a quite long walk but the rewards for your efforts are totally worthy with amazing and breath-taking landscapes of terraced rice fields, green valleys and meet with friendly local people. Back to the hotel and free at leisure. In the afternoon, we transfer you to Lao Cai station to take night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on 4sotf berth sharing cabin train
Day 05: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) - 200km/ 3.5hours drive
Pick up at the station at 05:00 and breakfast with Vietnamease traditional nooddle (Pho). We will transfer you to Halong Bay passing through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic destinations. Heading out of the town we embark on a Junk for an exploration of the legendary bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise
Day 06: Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island (B/L/D) - 8 hours cruising
Waking up, having breakfast served onboard and sinking under the first sunshine in a pure dawn on the sea. Continue cruising around the bay. Then continue to visit Cat Ba island. Transfer to hotel for check in then free time at your leisure to explore the island. Overnight in Catba
Day 07: Cat ba - Hai Phong - Ninh Binh (B/L) - 120km/ 45m on hydrophoid + 2.5 hours drive
Wake-up early in the morning for the sunrise and morning swim (great moments for nice photos). After our breakfast, we move the anchor for our cruise to Cat Ba National Park, where we will walk through a village of Viet Hai then trek up to a summit (3 hours trek). We will descend down to this village for our late lunch and some rest before we walk back to our boat. Arrive in Cat Ba hydrophoid port for transfer to Hai phong. Car pick you up at Hai phong then transfer to Ninh Binh. Free time at Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh
Day 08: Ninh Binh visit to Hoa Lu - Trang An - Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L)
After breaklfast, we start visiting the two temples honoring King Dinh and Kinh Le, then we transfer to Trang An area where 4km Southwest of Hoa Lu ancient capital inside Trang An Eco tourism complex. Stopping for lunch and boarding sampans to visit many grottoes of Trang An. Then we would land, getting on pick-up car to Cuc Phuong National Park. Prepare for overnight at Cuc Phuong and fire party by the lake could be set up on your request with strict safety requirements.
Day 09: Ninh Binh visit - Hanoi (B/L/D) - 180km/ 3.5hours drive
After breakfast, we start trekking up to observe hundred year old trees, many animal species and full ranges of butterflies swaying. Then we would get back to the Park Center, taking the ride to prehistoric man cave with break for lunch in the forest. Afternoon time would be chance for guests to cycle to endangered Species Center before bidding the farewell to Cuc Phuong at 15:30. Supposed time for Ha Noi arrival is 18:00. Farewell dinner with your fellow passenger in a fine restaurant in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Departure (B) - 50km/ 1hour drive
Free until being picked up for transfer to the airport back to your home country. End of ther service
