Day 01: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Arrival (D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam’s commercial heart and largest city. Transfer to your hotel, followed by a tour briefing, welcome drinks and your first taste of Vietnamese cuisine for dinner. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 02: Saigon city tour full day (B/L)
A full day to explore the center of Vietnam’s southern and centre of commerce. Tour starts with a visit to some of Saigon’s most colourful architecture and historical legacies on visits to the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Then Independence Palace and Ben Thanh Market just nearby. Free the rest of the day and your dinner. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 03: Special Speed boat ride to Cu Chi tunnel (B/ L)
We go by boat on a 1 hour very scenic speed boat trip up to Cu Chi. On arrival explore this underground network that was once a hideout and home for scores of Vietnamese insurgents during the Vietnam War. Covering nearly 250km, they were shelter to over 16,000 communist guerillas during the war. The tour at Cu Chi with a private guide (English speaking) is done at your pace and generally takes about an hour or an hour and a half. Then we have lunch at Cu Chi and take you back to District 1 by boat again arriving around 1:30 pm. Back to Saigon city for relax. Overnight in Saigon
Day 04: Saigon - My Tho - Can Tho (B/L)
Get off the Highway 1 at Tan An town and head to Tam Vu and Cho Gao then My Tho (85km). Some stops en route to see farmers working on paddy fields. A short boat ride to cross the upper Mekong to Ben Tre then being transferred to small sampans to get through some green, lush, picturesque and Amazon-like creeks. Call on some local families to see how they make coconut candies by hands. Lunch will be served at a local’s orchard. Continue our journey to Can Tho with a pleasant drive (90m). Arrive in Can Tho then check in hotel. Overnight at Can Tho
Day 05: Floating market visit - Chau Doc (B/L)
Early boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market, enjoy coffee and fruits at the market and watch the locals’ world goes by from our boat. Head to Long Xuyen for lunch (50km) and a quick break to visit the beautiful Theravada Khmer Buddhist Temple of Xvayton at Tri Ton (60km). A short drive to Tra Su Conservation, board on an arrow-boat and then a rowing-boat to unveil the breath-taking scenery and the wildlife habitats of this sensational and unique Conservation. The day ends with another short drive to Chau Doc. Check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 06: Floating Village-Sa Dec- Saigon (B/L)
Boat trip to visit a massive floating village where thousands of locals live on their floating house and earn their living on breeding Basa and many other kinds of fresh-water fish. A pleasant drive to Sa Dec’s bonsai and flower villages (100km). This is where you can enjoy the arts of landscaping, creating bonsai, growing and looking after many kinds of bonsai and flower. Lunch at Sa Dec before head back to Saigon with some stops en route to visit a beautiful brick factory (140km). Arrive in Sai gon and check in back to hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 07: Saigon - Departure (B)
This holiday only shows you the South part where is the biggest delta of Vietnam. We have more destinations such as: Halong Bay, mountainous trekking and heritages ect along the length of Vietnam. We do hope you will soon come back with us in a thorough exploration.
