Day 01: Sai gon (Ho Chi Minh City) arrival (Meals: D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam’s commercial heart and largest city. Transfer to your hotel followed by a tour briefing, welcome drinks and your first taste of Vietnamese cuisine for dinner. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 02: Sai gon full day city tour (Meals: B)
A full day to explore the center of Vietnam’s southern capital and centre of commerce - Ho Chi Minh City. Tour starts with a visit to some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most colourful architecture and historical legacies on visits to the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Then Independence Palace and Ben Thanh Market just nearby. Free the rest of the day and your dinner. Overnight in Hochiminh city
Day 03: Sai gon – Private Cai be Princess into Mekong Delta (Meals: B, L, D)
The excursion starts from Cai Be town pier at around 10.30 am. The cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. We will then proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer.
A delicious lunch will await you at "Le Longanier" restaurant, a superb Indochinese villa located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations.
After lunch, your boat will cruise deeper into the country side along smaller rivers and canals. We will cruise under several small bridges traditionally made by wood and bamboos, passing by numerous suspended fishing nets, an ancestral way of fishing in the Mekong Delta. Your river junk will proceed to Dong Hoa Hiep islet reaching an ancient mandarin house where you will disembark for the night. Free time to discover the old house and surroundings.
Day 04: Vinh Long – Sa dec – Drive back to Sai gon (Meals: B, L)
After breakfast, back on board your private sampan for your second day cruise in the delta. Crossing the large Co Chien River we will pass under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge. A visit will be made at a beautiful fruits orchard plantation.
We will proceed the cruise up-stream on a beautiful canal. Sa Dec is appearing like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals, with a lot of activity on the banks. You will disembark at the local market place, one of the biggest of the delta.
Lunch will be served at an ancient house (Nha Co).Visit of Sa Dec charming and peaceful town, walking along its narrow streets and beautiful old houses dating from the last century, among some old Chinese temples, ancient Dinh, including the primary school of Marguerite Duras famous writer. (See Marguerite Duras novel turned into a famous movie, “The Lover”).
Your own private transportation vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon and free the rest of the day at your hotel.
Day 05: Hochiminh city – fly to Hoi an (Meals: B) - 800km/ 1.5hours fly
Free until you will be transferred to the airport for 2 hours flight to Danang City, famous for China Beach and the former R&R for US servicemen. Pick up upon arrival and transfer to Hoi An. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Drive to hotel for relax and overnight
Day 06: Hoi An cooking class (Meals: B)
Experience Hoian cuisine – represented for Vietnam Central food to see how it different from one in Mekong Delta. Our car take you to Red Bridge restaurant for an exciting cooking class so that you can make some Vietnamese dishes on your own. Enjoy your self-cooked lunch before back to hotel. Free the rest of the day for wandering around the town or swimming at Cua Dai beach.
Day 07: Hoi an Free day (Meals: B)
Free time at leisure to enjoy the beach and teaste Hoi an specialities. Overnight in Hoi an
Day 08: Hoi An – fly to Hanoi (Meals: B) - 700km/ 1.5 hour fly
Free time and last good bye to our host for transfer to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Take time to see the city with its most highlights such as: Hoan Kiem lake, Temple of Literature, Hochiminh mausoleum and a Water Puppet show at late afternoon. Tonight we will experience a fine hotel in Hanoi center
Day 09: Hanoi - Halong Bay – cooking class on board (Meals: B, L, D)
Whatever you do, going to North Vietnam without a visit to Halong bay is a big mistake, (really, it is!!!). We will not let you miss it. This morning depart for Halong Bay, heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. The fantastic cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. And a unique Cooking Class over the bay while sailing deep into the bay. Enjoy Vietnamese seafood under your own “trademark” and overnight on-board
Day 10: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Moon Garden homestay (Meals: B,--,D)
Waking up and enjoy the sun rising over the Bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Our car will pick you up at the pier and transfer to Moon Garden homestay house which 50 km from Hanoi center. Arrive the house at around 4pm. Welcome by hosts then free time to walk around village followed with amazing relax foot bath in herbal water before going to bed.
Day 11: Moon garden homestay – Hanoi center (B/L)
Waking up in morning do some exercises then have fun with Cooking class to make North Vietnamese food. Then take bicycle to see Duong Lam Ancient village and Mia Pagoda – depending on the season, you can join some farming activities like: harvesting corn, sweet potatoes or go fishing (exciting and lots of laughs!!!). Back to lunch. Free time before transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in hotel
Day 12: Hanoi Departure (Meals: B)
