Day 01. Arrive in Saigon (Hochiminh city) (D)
Warmly welcome on arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport by Holiday Indochina tour guide/representative. Transfer to center of Vietnam’s southern and commercial center - Saigon city. On arrival, check in your hotel. This afternoon, we will see some of Saigon’s most colourful architecture and historical legacies on visits to the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office( note: if time permits). Overnight in Saigon.
Day 02. Mekong Delta tour full day (B/L)
Mekong Delta is most highlights of South Vietnam which makes up the unique lifestyle of the entire reason. Exploring thoroughly this delta can take you up to 10 days. it seems to be impossible because of your limited time. The trip is offered in order to allow you capture the best parts of this area.
Drive two hours to My Tho, then enjoy a sampan ride on the Mekong River to fruit orchards to see rural cottages industry at work and enjoy a horse cart ride through the village. Following lunch then return to Saigon. Free for your dinner. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 03. Saigon city tour - fly to Hoian (B/L)
Take a short drive to Cuchi tunnel to explore the incredible tunnel system by Vietnameses in the war with Americans. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive back to Saigon and take a late afternoon flight to Vietnam Central - Danang city. Upon arrival in Danang, meet our driver and transfer 30km along the beautiful coast to Hoian. Check in your hotel and enjoy the free leisure time. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 04. Hoian city tour (B)
Wake up in the town. Hoi an is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. However, some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancient house, and the Japanese Bridge. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 05. Hoian – Hue (B)
Today, we transfer to another Culrural World Heritage of Vietnam, Hue city through majestic Hai Van pass. Upon arrival, a guided city tour to Purple Forbidden Citadel will give you an eye-bird view of Royal family in the past. The tour will continue with a cycle tour around the city then end by a special performance of Hue folk songs on Dragon boat over Huong River. Overnight in Hue
Day 06. Hue city – fly to Hanoi (B)
This morning, Seeing more about Royal lives once reigned at Hue city which were even so extravagant in the life after death of Kings. A visit to King Khai Dinh and Tu Duc’s Tombs will show you this. After your own lunch, catch the afternoon flight to the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi. A short visit to the city center with Sword Lake, Ngoc Son temple, Ancient quarter and enjoy Water Puppet show before relaxing at your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 07. Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we depart directly to the city of Quang ninh - the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Upon arrival, see a little of the busy seaport. Continue your journey to Halong Bay by boarding the traditional junk. Once onboard check into your cabin, enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch and spend the afternoon cruising past the many limestone peaks and islands that form this picturesque bay. Relax on deck this afternoon and overnight onboard. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise
Day 08. Halong – back to Hanoi (B)
Wake early as the mist rises over the bay, an ideal time to take pictures. Enjoy breakfast and continue your cruise, later return to shore and transfer back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi at around 16.00. Check in hotel and relaxing Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 09. Hanoi Departure (B)
Breakfast at your hotel, this morning. Meet our tour guide at hotel and we will visit the Hanoi city: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, temples of literature-the first university of Vietnam will not be missed. if time permits, we will visit some more places before transfer to airport for your next destination or flight home.
