Day 01: Saigon (Hochiminh city) arrival – preparing cameras (D)

Arrive in Saigon, Vietnam’s commercial heart and largest city. Transfer to your hotel followed by a tour briefing, welcome drinks and your first taste of Vietnamese cuisine for dinner (if time permit). Overnight in Saigon.

Day 02: Saigon city tour – start opening your lens   (B)
A full day to explore the center of Vietnam’s southern centre of commerce - Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, introducing about the city the tour guide will take you the best parts of the city. Take time to see, feel the local people lives and open your lens now. Show time starts!!! This is best for portrait and architect photo shoots. Some special landmarks cannot be missed are: Independent Palace, North Dame Cathedral, Central Post office, Thien Hau pagoda and Cho lon market. Don’t forget to capture the locals’ faces. Free the rest of the day and your dinner. Overnight in Hochiminh city

Day 03: Saigon – Mekong delta photography (B/L/D)
Pick up at your hotel and depart for going deep down to Mekong delta center. Take sampan ride on Mekong river to visit abundant Mekong delta with garden farms, fruit gardens, small and busy cannels and floating markets…After sampan ride, lift up your legs with a short and interesting biking trip to authentic Mekong small communities where locals have even not seen any foreigners in their lives; take time to capture the scenes, river, locals’ eyes and smiles
Back to your car and proceed to Can Tho. Don’t forget to prepare necessary accessories for exciting but very early morning photo shoot next day. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 04: Can Tho – floating market visit – Saigon (B/L)

Wake up at around 4.00AM then take boat ride to Cai Rang floating market. Floating market is a typical activity of communities along the river. Cai Rang is the wholesales floating market for this region. You can see traders selling everything here, especially plenty of fruits. You will find the giant river become narrow with hundreds of boats. And this is a heaven for photo taking: crowded market, boats full of commodities, happy faces when get a good deals ect.. which are all gone after just about 3-4 hours. At around 7am, the river is back to quiet and seems bigger.
We will back to the hotel to take some snack and drive for short visit surroundings. Lunch at local restaurant and drive back to Saigon. Free time and relax. Overnight in Saigon

Day 05: Saigon – fly to Hoian (B)
Free until you will be transferred to the airport for 1.5 hours flight to Danang City, famous for My Khe Beach and the former R&R for US servicemen. Pick up upon arrival and transfer to Hoian. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous beach en route to charming Hoian. Short guided city tour to show you the most highlights of Hoian history and feature. The tour takes you to: Fukien pagoda, one of ancient houses, Japanese pagoda bridge, a lantern making workshop. Free time at your leisure at the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoian

Day 06: Hoian free day photo shooting (B)
Hoian is a peaceful and lovely town to self-explore. And this is also one of heaven for photographers. We leave this whole day at your own pace to capture the beauty of Hoian and surroundings. Keep in your mind that Ancient quarter is a small part of Hoian. Rent a bike or motor bike to neighbor villages (Thuan Tinh, Tra Que, Kim Bong ect) you will get unique pictures of Hoian.
Tips: bike or motor bike rentals in Hoian is inexpensive at all. Some hotels even offer it free. Nice!!!

Day 07: Hoian – Hue city – stop at Hai Van Pass    (B)
Take your last shot in Hoian then move north ward to another World Cultural heritage – Hue city. The rout to Hue, we will stop at Hai Van pass – the most stunning pass of Vietnam. In 2005, Vietnam Gov completed Hai Van tunnel to shorten the route connecting between North and South. Nowadays, most of vehicles travel through the tunnel. However, the path over the peak of Hai Van pass does not disappear as the breath taking and stunning view they offer when you’re standing there. That’s why we take you over there in order to satisfy your amazing photography passion. Arrive in Hue. Free time to relax
Safety note: The fabulous view of Hai Van pass is made from continuous twist turns of up and down paths, then it’s also dangerous. Please kindly, strictly follow the tour guide’s instruction!!!

Day 08: Hue city tour (B)
After breakfast, take a visit to the Royal Imperial Citadel (Dai Noi), the Forbidden Palace to find out the luxurious lives of the Nguyen Kings under the feudal regime. Continue to see more about Hue city with Royal tombs: Tu Duc King’s tomb and Khai Dinh King’s tombs. These tombs reflect the luxury in their afterlife of Kings and also show the style of each King: Tu Duc loved poetry very much while Khai Dinh was very modern and opened to Western culture. The tombs tour followed with a cyclo around the charm city before Hue traditional folk song on the Perfume River at night. Dinner under your own management. Overnight in Hue

Day 09: Hue – Train ride to Hanoi (B)
Free for photo hunting at your own pace. Then say good bye to Hue city then experience Vietnam Railway to reach the Capital city of Vietnam. The train goes through night and you will arrive in Hanoi at about 4.30am. Overnight on train

Day 10: Hanoi – arrival and city tour ( B)
Depending on your energy, we enjoy breakfast and relax or go out for hunting the best photos in the early morming that you have some unique photos in quite Hanoi city. Check in Hotel and relax. We will have this whole day to see the 1000 year old city. The highlights are: Hochiminh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Museums, Ancient Quarter, Sword lake, Tran Quoc pagoda and water puppet show, in which your cameras should not miss Ancient Quarter and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 11: Hanoi – Halong bay overnight on junk (B/L/D)
After breakfast, our tour starts its first highlight by departing directly to the city of Quang ninh and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. Upon arrival of Halong bay port; check in to your private cabin on traditional Halong bay junk. The junk sets sail while you enjoy some welcome drink and see a little of this busy seaport. The cruise enter the bay with a short brief of cruise manager then you will have a sumptuous seafood lunch and spend the afternoon cruising past the many limestone peaks and islands that form this picturesque Halong bay of Vietnam. From the deck, you can shoot alot of beautifyl photos of the bay with thousand limestone moutains, Visiting the amazing cave will take alot memory card capacity of your camera so for sure that the memory cards are always available. Overnight on board

Day 12: Halong – Hanoi – night train to Sapa (B)
Wake early as the mist rises over the Halong bay, an ideal time to take pictures. Enjoy breakfast and continue your Halong cruise trip, after the brunch then clear bill while returning to shore. Our vehicle picks you up at the Halong port then transfer back to Hanoi, en route visit at Dong Trieu Ceramic Village to get some souvenirs handicrafts. Arrive in Hanoi in later afternoon. Short transfer to Hanoi’s railway station for your overnight train journey to the highlands north of Hanoi and the remote hill station of Sapa town. Your accommodation is a shared 4 berth compartment, complete with sleeper beds and crisp linen sheets. Overnight on train.

Day 13: Station arrival – Sapa visit (B/L)
Wake early and marvel at the remarkable scenery as you roll into Lao Cai station - 30km from Sapa town. On arrival at around 5am, be picked up and transferred uphill to Sapa town, check in to the hotel and enjoy breakfast before exploring this scenic and cultural area of French style town - Sapa. Foot on your comfort shoes, we will walk now (and it’s quite lot). But our reward is very much deserved: the water fall from huge jungle suddenly pouring down, ethnic people with colorful dresses and accessories, majestic view of the top roof of Indochina – Fansipan peak ect. Back to hotel for time to rest. Overnight in hotel

Day 14: Sapa’s villages tour or local market visit – night train to Hanoi  (B/L)
Wake up early in the morning. The pure atmosphere and stunning scenery of highland town, Sapa will help you freshen up. Depends on the date we have two options: to visit ethnic minority villages around Sapa or drive to Bac Ha market  on Sunday, Coc ly Market on Tuesday and Can Cau Market on Saturday. There, you can watch and even join trading activities of real hill-tribe people. Luncheon served at local restaurant. Say goodbye to peaceful town, Sapa then transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for a ride back to Hanoi. Overnight on shared 4 bed AC Cabin train.

Day 15: Arrive Hanoi station – Last free day for photo hunting (B)
Arrive in Hanoi at around 5am. Depending on season, we can take you to West Lake where has huge lotus pond. On blossoming season (summer) the beautiful fragrance overwhelmed the whole are and you can see lots of local teenagers coming here to take cute photos. In other season, a short photo shot at Hoan Kiem lake, along Thanh Nien street (view to West lake), Tran phu – Hoang Dieu streets, flowers market on Nghi Tam are all best alternative before you back to hotel
This last day is free for your own pace to capture your own memory of our country. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 16: Hanoi Departure (B)
We do hope you have got your Vietnam photo album full through the journey with us. We are very happy to travel and share the photography passion with you. Free time until you’re on-ward flight. It’s time to say good bye.
